Natural sun protection (SPF) can be found in many products. If you’ve gone off chemicals, or like me, have noticed skin problems with using traditional sun block, here is a great DIY sunscreen:
Step 1: 1 tablespoon of coconut oil 4-6 spf,
Step 2: add 6 drops of carrot seed oil SPF 35-40
Step 3: Add 1 teaspoon of zinc oxide SPF 2-20 (depending on how much is used).
This provides a natural alternative to sun protection. This recipe can also be applied to sun burn to soothe and help speed recovery. There are added benefits such as vitamins and anti-acne and antibacterial benefits to this DIY Natural Sunscreen Recipe.
